JFL Center has offered a variety of afternoon, day long, and weekend workshops for recovering individuals, women, and couples. Workshops afford an opportunity to work through issues in a more condensed way. Our facilitators utilize warm up through sociometry to create cohesion and safer space and to identify common themes. Our modalities are primarily experiential in nature - embodied and creative. If you do not see a workshop that meets your needs, feel free to reach out and talk with us about creating a workshop.
Information and exploration of the impact of betrayal trauma with other women partners of sex addicts. Review of strategies to rebuild a sense of self and see the precious parts inside. Utilized the Trauma Reconstruction Narrative in action.
An exploration of unmet sobriety needs and unaddressed causes and conditions that can lead to relapse/addictive behavior. Utilized the Trauma Reconstruction Narrative in action.
This day-long experiential workshop explored body awareness and body appreciation. It was followed up by 3 monthly sessions that expanded on self-care behaviors that originate from self-love and appreciation instead of fear.
This group provided a safe and intimate setting for women to share experiences and gain insight, tools, and courage to support a recovery lifestyle.
Intensive weekend workshops for couples in recovery (sex addiction) looking at communication, triggers, strategies and accessing support. Utilized Imago dialogue, sociometry, sculpting and psychodramatic techniques including role training to practice new responses and resourcing during challenging situations.
“Sarah and Mario bring their years of life and professional experience to a weekend retreat that allows individuals and couples to work through all sorts of issues within the relationship. Their skill set is immeasurable!”

“In our workshop, I was able to recognize we all had much more in common than we had differences. It was so strengthening to be working through difficult coupleship issues with the support and understanding of other partners. And it was validating to feel seen by those partners who have struggled with addiction, and to feel safe around them – to be vulnerable with each other.”
