Sarah Davila is a Certified Psychodramatist (CP) in the PAT process (Practitioner Applicant for Trainer)
She has been on this journey for many years and initially trained with Dorothy and Mort Satten. Since 2014, she has trained with Nan Nally-Seif (NYC), Donna Little and Barbara Guest (Toronto), and Judy Swallow and Jennifer Salimbene (Hudson Valley). Now in the PAT process, she is consulting with Scott Giacomucci (Philadelphia area) and Deb Karner (Ithaca). As a PAT, she can provide individuals training toward certification (up to 100 hours) and once a TEP, she will provide ongoing training and curriculum.
She is willing to design training in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy for personal growth, supervision, as well as certification.

This three session series will begin to explore some of the history and methodology of psychodrama (founded by Jacob Moreno, MD) along with an introduction to sociometry and its use to build connections in groups. Sociometric exercises are used as warm-ups for individual, family or group therapy to decrease anxiety and increase access to spontaneity. The goal of this series is to teach the psychodramatic techniques of doubling, mirror position and role reversal and the sociometric technique of the social atom.
